Quarter-final Fixtures

The stage is set for the super eight to contest for the pride & glory. This year’s title contenders are rearing up for the nerve wracking fixtures which will unfold in 72 hours.  The teams have to overcome this hurdle to stay in the hunt for the title.

The first match is between the 9 time champions Real Madrid & Cyprus’s Apoel Nicosia. Meanwhile the only English hope Chelsea will take on Portuguese giant Benfica. The overwhelming win against Napoli in round of 16 has given the players the much needed confidence.

The next day German power house Bayern will face French super club Marseille who have dethroned the former champion & Italian demon Inter in last minute injury time goal in round of 16.

But the centre of attraction is the match between the current champion Barcelona & 7 time champions Milan. This match is the talk of the town everywhere. The world is holding its breath for the ultimate clash of the titans.

The first round of matches will set the tone for the second leg fixtures. The second leg matches will be played on 3-4 April.
