United’s second signing…Powell

Manchester United have finally confirmed the signing of Nick Powell from Crewe. He will be joining the United squad at the beginning of July. He has played for England under 16s, 17s and 18s. The 18 year old plays as an Attacking midfielder. He has made a total of 64 appearances for Crewe Alexandra in the last 2 seasons and scored 16 goals.
After the midfield crisis that United went through last season we are definitely making the right purchases and seem that we are heading to the right direction again. If the rumors are to be true then Lewandowski and Luka Modric are also under the United radar. If all these signings come true before the beginning of the new season I expect a free flowing, fast, attacking United games. That is just what the Doctor ordered to see off our rivals City. The pace and creativity that the first 2 signings are going to bring to the midfield would be something to watch for.
