Manchester United welcome Sunderland tomorrow at Old Trafford. United are comfortably sitting at the top of the table with 6 points clear of second placed City.
Manchester United are currently riding high with confidence from the Derby victory they had last week. The game was as entertaining as you could have wished for.
I am pretty sure that the team which entire Manchester United have been waiting for, apart from City would be Sunderland. After their fans mocked United last season when they lost the title to City seems to be pretty fresh in the mind of the players, I guess the manager’s too, and oh! Yes the fans definitely have not forgotten it.
Manchester United Captain Nemanja Vidic is almost certain to start tomorrow after a two month long break due to a knee operation. Jonny Evans might be a doubt after he was substituted with a hamstring during last week’s derby. Kagawa will also be making a comeback from his knee injury, but might not make it to the starting eleven. Wayne Rooney’s illness might force Sir Alex to bench him and play either Chicharito or Welbeck, but I doubt if Rooney wants to sit the game out, atleast not tomorrow.
Sunderland are currently 15th in the League with 16 points from as many games. Wes Brown, Phil Bardsley and Lee Cattermole are set to miss the game for Sunderland.
United are undefeated against Sunderland in their last 17 meetings in all competitions, while Sunderland have just one win from their last 15 Premier League away games, losing seven and drawing seven.
