United keen to bring down Bridge

Well after the Champions League game against Braga last Tuesday I am sure that Manchester United are hell bent on giving an entertaining match to their fans as often as they can. They sure need to understand that if this is the case and if we keep proving ourselves as comeback heroes then very soon there won’t be any fun in that. Our defense again was breached before the timer ticked 2 digits, but we cannot deny the belief and the fighting spirit of our players. I hope the spirits don’t get called upon too often as the season progresses.

Moving on, this Sunday, 28th Oct, the Red Devils will be travelling to Stamford Bridge to take on the current European Champions and the leaders of the BPL. Chelsea with some of their excellent summer signing seems to be the team to beat this season. They are current leading the league table with 22 points followed by Manchester United with 18 points. Chelsea are also currently undefeated in the Barclays premier league with 7 wins and 1 draw out of 8 games, but are coming back with a loss to Shakhtar Donestsk during their Champions League group match.

John Terry will miss the game following his 4 match ban. Frank Lampard might be a doubt following his injury during the Champions League match. With Torres starting every single game as a lone striker, the blues might be looking towards Mata, Hazard and Oscar for some goals.

Manchester United will be without the services of Shinji Kagawa due to an injury to the knee against Braga.

Manchester United have won 4 and lost non against the last 5 matches against Chelsea, while Chelsea have won 10 and lost just one in their last 13 premier league home games.

While the Red Devils will be looking to hand the Blues their first defeat of the season and cut the gap to 1 point, the Blues would be aiming to extend their lead to 7 points. This match might be crucial leading to the end of the season.

It should be an exciting game of football with the strong defense that Chelsea have displayed this season with 4 clean sheets, against the goal scoring abilities of Rooney, RVP, Welbeck and Hernandez. I would not be surprised if the game goes to halftime with 2-3 goals being scored.
