United vs QPR preview

Manchester United will be taking on QPR tomorrow at Old Trafford. Last weekend Untied lost to Norwich which definitely lacked penetration and firepower. Watching the game it looked like United surely missed Rooney. After the pounding I had given some Arsenal fans after their loss to Norwich, this was the last team I would have expected to see United lose against. But all in all I think we thoroughly deserved to lose the game. I almost fell asleep watching our toothless attack, until Welbeck came in and tried to rescue us. Well Hernandez might just have to be our Super sub this season. During both the starts for United he never looked threatening in front of the goal. The loss also meant that City claimed the 1st spot following their 5-0 drubbing of Aston Villa.

Then there was the mid-week loss to Galatasaray during the Champions league match. Sir Alex Ferguson had fielded a young side since United had already qualified for the round of 16 as group leaders. It was a good experience for the young lads, and seems that their experience will grow further when they play their last Champions league game against Cluj on 5th Dec.

QPR are currently sitting at the bottom of the table with 4 points and no wins under their belt. They will also be without former red Ji-sung Park due to injury and on loan Fabio, who is not allowed to play against his parent club as per the deal. They will also be without the services of their top goal scorer Bobby Zamora. QPR have the 2nd worst defense in the league this season so far, and the mark Hughes reign seems to be coming to an end.

Robin Van Persie has only scored 1 less goal then the entire QPR team. Rooney should be partnering Van Persie tomorrow after missing out the last game against Norwich. De Gea might be in the starting XI tomorrow after missing out 2 games following a tooth surgery.  Nani and Kagawa will out due to injury, which means Valencia and Young will be taking the flanks tomorrow for United.

All in all it might be a daunting task for the faltering QPR defense to keep Rooney and Van Persie quite.
